Donate to Habitat ReStore to Help Others

Waste Connections of Pueblo encourages the individuals and businesses to donate reusable construction and home items to Habitat for Humanity ReStore to support the community and reduce impact on the environment.

Proceeds generated from sales at ReStore help Habitat for Humanity’s mission of building decent and affordable housing and removing home ownership barriers for many families in need.ReStore has operated in support of Habitat for Humanity of Pueblo since 2006 and continues its mission today.

ReStore will provide pickup for some larger items in and around Pueblo. Call or visit the Habitat for Humanity of Pueblo website to learn more.

Before you load up your donations, be sure to give ReStore a call to make sure they will accept your items.

ReStore may accept the donation like:

  • Appliances
  • Cabinets
  • Countertops
  • Doors
  • Fans
  • Flooring material­­­
  • Furniture, stain free, pet free and in good condition
  • Lumber and trim, not less than 4 feet long
  • Plumbing, tubs, sinks, vanities, showers, and toilets
  • Plywood and sheetrock
  • Roofing materials
  • Tile, new only
  • Tools
  • Windows and screens

ReStore cannot accept­:

  • Chemicals or hazardous substances
  • Counter tops with sink cutouts
  • Electronics
  • Fluorescent light bulbs or lighting fixtures
  • Mirror, glass, used shower doors
  • Paint or stain
  • Propane tanks or gas tanks
  • Single pane windows with metal frames
  • Sleeper sofas, mattresses, or damaged furniture, stained furniture with pet hair
  • Used ceramic tiles, carpet or pads
  • Window coverings or blinds
